#6: "Swing the Jingle"
"Swing The Jingle" was an ambitious mid '60s Coca Cola advertising project. The idea was to have the rock and soul artists of the day sing Coke jingles. The song was always written and performed in the style of the particular performing artist so that young people would identify and want to drink Coke. Duh! In addition to the albums shown below, Wayne Fontana TX-105, Petula Clark (unknown #), Los Bravos (unknown #), (Unknown Artists) "More Than One" TX-96, (Unknown Artists) "Lift-top Cap" TX-99 also have Swing The Jingle albums and there's probably a few more. Many other artists recorded "Swing The Jingles" but they didn't have albums. Any additional info is appreciated.
