This is a continuation of
the "underrated" theme started in Gallery #71. It's hard to make a case for underrated C&W when there's never been a
critic's top 100 C&W list! Since this is VinylBeat.com, we're focusing
on the vinyl years of 1955-1985. Again, this list is subjective and reflects my musical tastes. I did a lot of editing
just to arrive at this number; apologies if your favorite was omitted.
The list is alphabetical. There are no greatest hits compilations, but there are a few albums that feature tracks taken
from 45s or 78s that had never been on an album before (Hank Williams, Jimmie Rodgers, Wynn Stewart, etc.). Check out
