Ruth Wallis was one of a handful of lady comediennes who "worked dirty." However, she's the only one
who wrote and performed her own songs full of double entendres. In the '50s and '60s she was known as the "Queen of The Party Record." King records
thought enough of her to release a consecutive series of her albums. She also recorded many albums on her own label "Wallis Original," and recorded for
Jubilee and Mercury as well. In 2003, Ms. Wallis' work was the basis of a successful off-Broadway revue,
"Boobs! The Musical: The World According to Ruth Wallis."
