"Rene" did the album cover artwork for at least ten of the Duke/Peacock albums. I couldn't find any information about him, however a "Rene Williams" wrote some of the back cover blurbs, so they might be one in the same. The colors and simplicity of design make these some of the more memorable albums in the gospel world. His artwork compares favorably with the Savoy "Harvey" covers, although Rene didn't do nearly as many.
