Atlantic Records was the premier blues and R&B label in the 1950s. They put out wonderful 78s and later albums by
the likes of Ray Charles, Ruth Brown, the Drifters, Coasters and many more. The label was run by music aficionados
with great taste, about whom much has been written.
The darker ones below are LPs and the whiter ones are EPs featuring music that was taken from the LPs. Missing are
Atlantic EP 586 Joe Turner, EP 587 Ray Charles, EP 588 Laverne Baker and EP 589 Ivory Joe Hunter.
