"The Delight of Record Collecting"
Vinylbeat.com is primarily an LP site.
However, we do take occasional forays into other interesting record collecting niches.
I was amazed the first time I saw a Vogue picture disc. I had no idea they existed, since
I wasn't collecting the pop music they featured. After looking at regular 78s for years,
seeing a beautiful picture disc was eye opening.
Shown below are the front and back of about a third of the discs made, all between 1946 and
1947 for the Sav-Way company of Detroit, which soon went bankrupt. Also shown are a couple
of the albums they made which held two 78s.
